1. RESERVATIONS
The contract of letting is between yourself and the owners, Val and Bry Lynas. Bookings are only accepted subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse any booking or to cancel any booking already made. In the unlikely event of this happening, we will return the initial payment plus any other rental money paid by you.

2. INITIAL PAYMENT
The initial payment should be 1/3rd of the total rent. For bookings made 8 weeks or less before the start of the holiday the full rent is due. Please make your cheque payable to ‘Val Lynas’. For overseas visitors in particular, we suggest direct bank transfer (BACS). Contact us for details.

3. BALANCE
The balance is due 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday, payment details as above.

4. CANCELLATION PROTECTION
It is bad enough having to cancel your carefully planned holiday without also having to pay the full balance. To eliminate this unfortunate occurrence we strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance. You can do this online at http://travel.schofields.ltd.uk/.

Such insurance normally protects you against liability to pay the full rent if forced to cancel the holiday due to death, injury, maternity, or illness. For reasons other than those, you remain liable for the full balance so you will need to check what other coverage you wish to add when you take out insurance cover.

5. LIABILITY
Bookings are made on the understanding that occupancy of the property is for holiday purposes only and is only for the period of time agreed by ourselves and the Guest. Your rights to occupy the property may be forfeited without compensation if:

A. more people than specified in our description, or as stated on the confirmation of booking, attempt to occupy the property.

B. overnight guests are entertained without our permission.

C. you cause damage, noise, unreasonable disturbance or conduct yourself unreasonably.

6. LETTING
Letting is from Saturday 3.00pm to Saturday 10.00am. Please contact us regarding your expected time of arrival. In all cases, the building must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure to leave us time to prepare for the next guests.

8. COMPLAINTS
In the event of a complaint, the matter should always be taken up with us (or, if we are away, our agent) immediately. Reasonable time must be allowed for us to rectify a complaint or meet any reasonable request you make.

9. PETS
Because Gwyndy is located on a working farm with animals and a wildlife reserve, we cannot accept pets under any circumstances. We hope you will understand.

10. SMOKING
Gwyndy is let on the basis that no guest smokes inside the building or conservatory.
