ORGANIC VEGETABLE BOX SCHEME
This scheme is the result of co-operation between two organic farms in Llangybi: Ty’n Lôn Uchaf and Mur Crusto. Mur Crusto trades as Llangybi Organics and we use this term loosely to refer to the co-operative efforts of both farms. The boxes – usually bags - are available weekly.
Box prices: £11.00 or £16.50
In the boxes, you’ll find a range of fresh seasonal organic vegetables, all grown on our two farms in Llangybi to the highly regarded Soil Association organic standards. Although you can’t choose the contents of your box, you get real value for money with this scheme and a chance to experiment with different vegetables. In summer and autumn, we’ll offer an additional selection of seasonal fruits. We produce a regular customer newsletter, which includes recipes and helps us keep in contact with you. We also welcome your feedback on our produce and the scheme.
Commitment: We are committed to providing you with weekly boxes of fresh veg which require not just a lot of work to produce but careful planning for many months ahead. We ask in return a similar commitment from you, our customers. If you’re going away, please try to arrange for family, friends or neighbours to have your box.
Please make cheques payable to "Val Lynas". (i.e. NOT to 'Llangybi Organics'!)
How do you get your box? Sorry, we cannot deliver though we may consider doing so for a small charge in the immediate Llangybi area. Your box will be ready for you to collect from Mur Crusto farm, Llangybi, on Fridays after 5.00pm. If you live further away, what about arranging with others in your area to take turns in collecting the boxes? Let us know if you would like your contact details to be given to others that live in your area so that you can organise collection amongst yourselves.

Waiting list. If you don’t manage to get on our initial list, we’ll let you know if someone drops out or we are able to increase our production. The date you apply determines your priority – first come, first served.
